Article 1 (Purpose)

The App is for recording billiards match results, 5-9 scores, and your own cues, and for sharing them with the people you play with.

Article 2 (Prohibited conduct)

You must not:

Break the law or act against public order and morals.
Defame, harass, or discriminate against other users, third parties, or us.
Impersonate another person.
Post photos of other people, or information identifying them, without their consent.
Solicit gambling or post for the purpose of exchanging stakes.
Advertise or solicit commercially (unless we have agreed to it).
Register false match results, or induce another user to approve a false result.
Exploit a defect in the App to use paid features without paying.
Access the App in bulk by automated means, or reverse-engineer it.
Cause a nuisance at a venue or other premises.

Article 3 (Removal of posts and suspension)

We may remove a post that we judge to breach Article 2, without prior notice.
We may suspend your use of the App for repeated or serious breaches.
🔴 A suspension record cannot be deleted by the person it applies to. If it could be erased to escape the measure, the measure would mean nothing.

Article 4 (Rights in your posts)

The rights in what you post remain yours.
You grant us permission to store, display, and deliver your posts to the extent needed to operate the App.
🔴 We do not repurpose your posts for advertising or any other purpose.

Article 5 (Match results and approval)

A match result becomes final when your opponent approves it.
Accuracy is the users' responsibility. We do not guarantee that any record is true.
We do not take part in disputes between users about results or standings.

Article 6 (Shop information)

Shop names and locations are a shared list entered by users. We do not guarantee that a shop exists, its opening hours, its location, or any other detail.
🔴 The location of a shop you add is shared with other users. Do not add your home, or anywhere else you do not want other people to know about, as a shop.
Adding a shop that does not exist, a place that is not open to the public, or someone's home is prohibited conduct under Article 2.
🔴 A check-in tells the people who follow you that you are at that shop. If you do not want that known, do not check in.
We are not responsible for anything arising between you and a shop or its staff.

Article 7 (BilliHub Pro)

The App is free to use. "BilliHub Pro" is an optional subscription that adds features and supports continued development of the App.
The price and period are shown on the purchase screen. It renews every month and continues until you cancel.
Payment is charged when the purchase is confirmed — to your Apple ID on iOS, and to your Google Play account on Android. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, it renews at the same price.
You can cancel at any time — on iOS from Settings → (your name) → Subscriptions on your iPhone, and on Android from "Subscriptions" in Google Play. ⚠️ On Android, uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription (support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481). After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Payment and refunds are handled through the store you bought from (Apple or Google). Whether a refund is granted is decided by that store.
If we change the price, we will give notice in the manner the store requires.
🔴 Cancelling does not delete any record you have already saved. You simply return to what the free plan shows (recent totals, number of photos, number of saved rule sets).
There is no free trial.

Article 8 (Advertising)

If you use the App for free, ads are shown in the timeline (Google AdMob). While you have BilliHub Pro, no ads are shown.
🔴 Ads are fixed to "non-personalised". They are not chosen from your behaviour or history. See the Privacy Policy for details.
You can report an inappropriate ad from the "..." on the ad card.
The content of ads is decided by the ad network; we do not endorse or guarantee it. ⚠️ As stated in Article 4 (Rights in your posts), we never repurpose your posts as ads.

Article 9 (Third-party services)

The App uses the following services. Each is governed by that company's own terms.

Apple (sign-in on iOS, and purchase and cancellation of the paid plan)
Google Play (purchase and cancellation of the paid plan on Android)
Google / Firebase (accounts and database)
Cloudflare (photo delivery, and storage of notification addresses)
Google AdMob (ads in the free version)

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

We do not guarantee that the App will not be interrupted or discontinued, or that data will not be lost.
🔴 Records stored only on your device (match records, 5-9, my cues, favourite shops) are lost if the device fails, is lost, or the App is deleted. We cannot restore them.

Article 11 (Changes to these terms)

We may change these terms as needed. We will announce significant changes in the App. If you continue to use the App after a change, you are treated as having accepted it.
